This week's hour almost felt like a season finale, didn't it?  We had some significant focus on the main characters, with only minor side crap (read: Palmer's ridiculous storyline).  We had a showdown with Mr. Evil, Stephen Saunders.  And we had a reunion of Tony and Michelle, who haven't

seen one another since Chappelle was still alive and making decisions.  I think what we'll do this week is simply go through the hour chronologically, like I used to try to do.

We start off with CTU trying to locate Tony, which as you may recall, Tony said would take 30 minutes when he spoke with Saunders.  Now, I have to think Tony wasn't lying, since he clearly doesn't want CTU to catch him at this point.  However, Adam is able to locate Tony in about - what? - 30 seconds?  Again, just as I asked last week, what is Adam using to track Tony?  LoJack?  A GMC Yukon detector?  I don't get it.  Even if you have spectacular satellite coverage, I don't understand how you can locate one particular vehicle, unless it's by sheer luck.  Like, Adam picked the right street to check out and there he is!  Of course, how could he then be sure it wasn't some soccer mom in her silver SUV?  Speaking of which, Tony is driving a GMC Yukon Denali.  The Denali trim is the highest level and pimps your Yukon up to nearly Cadillac standards. Easily over $40K.  Not bad, Tony, not bad.  At CTU, Chase is whimpering "But Jane Saunders was our only leverage against her father!"  To which Jack replies with the "I know that, Chase!"  Seriously.  What's the deal, Chase?  Do you just feel like you need to say something?

A little while later, Chase is apparently tying his shoes up in Jack's office (maybe he's practicing?  "Loop, swoop…") and Kim is loitering outside, clearly waiting to be noticed.  Chase obliges, and she says she's working on something-or-other.  My response would be, "No, you're not.  Actually, you're standing around on the metal landing outside your daddy's office."  But that's because I'm a smartass.  Chase brings up the storyline from a few months ago (for us) which is actually just yesterday evening (for them) about the two of them.  Kim still seems oblivious to what Chase has gone through in the past day.  I wonder how that bullet wound in his hand is doing.  Speaking of which, don't you think he might be pulled off of active duty, regardless of the situation, until his injuries can be stabilized and confirmed?  Ah, I forgot, he's one of the "best agents they've got."  Which is interesting, since I don't think I've seen a single field agent who looks younger than him.  He must be a very fast learner.  Anyway, they go back and forth and Chase even volunteers to give up field work to be with Kim.  Yeah, right, after dating for three months.  If anyone derails their career - whatever it may be - after dating someone for three months, they're an idiot.  But then, look who we're talking about here.  It's like the Nick and Jessica of counter-intelligence.  In fact, the term "counter-intelligence" has sort of a double meaning with these two, doesn't it?  Anyway, Kim tells Chase that "the baby changes everything."  Hmmm.  I don't care.  Not even a little bit.
